Love this time of year! The colors, the smells, the scenery!
Finally got an appointment to get my headaches looked into, but the day before.. full blown migraine! I was at wwork assisting with a patient, I could not keep my eyes open as it seemed too bright, when I could keep them open I could not focus...and I got all shaky. Once we got to a stopping point, I went to the office manager and told her I think I needed to go home, she said to go sit down and rest, she would call Scott. Once I did that, I started feeling sick, and then stabbing pains in the back of my head made me cry! It was a rough few hours! Scott did make it up there to get me and drove me home, I crawled into bed and stayed there from like 2pm-8:30pm. Only got up for food, and back to bed. Called out the next morning, so I could go to my scheduled appt. It was here at the clinic on base. They put me in a room that could have the ight dimmed, my blood pressure was sky high! They ended up giving me a shot of toradol in my butt! Made me stay for abother hour, and it did nothing for the pain. They suggested I go to the ER.
I was suppose to have an appt. this day at 2:45 for my sleep apnea results at my neurologist. It was about 1pm the time the clinic suggested I go to the ER. I called to cancel my results appt. and we went to the ER. We got there and they were so packed and 3 ambulances just pulled up. I called back to my neurologist to see if I could still him. So we decided to go there and come back. So I walk in, and they take one look at me and knew I was miserable. The doctor asked me about my history with migraines so I told him and he hooked me up! He ended up giving me 2 shot in my head!! One of lidocaine and one of fiornal. Gave me prescriptions for fiornal with codeine, migranal, and topamax Also gave me my results for my sleep apnea, which I do have mild sleep apnea.
Been a long week!!
